I write research-backed content on cycling, women's health, and faith — for clients who want a real writer with real experience in the subject.

Hi, I'm Amanda — the writer behind The Flourishing Soul. I'm a freelance content writer, an ordained pastor, a cyclist, and a mom of six. I hold a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Biblical Exegesis, and I've been writing professionally since 2019. My work has appeared in ROUVY and Worship Leader Magazine, and I carry a 100% Job Success Score on Upwork.

My work is grounded in careful research, an ear for voice, and respect for the people on the other side of the screen. I help clients turn their expertise into content that is useful, credible, and distinctly theirs.

I bring firsthand experience to the subjects I write about, including cycling, homesteading and self-sufficiency, faith and ministry, preparedness, parenting, and family life.

I am a longtime cyclist and an advocate for helping more women feel at home on a bike. I understand the questions and practical details behind cycling content—from beginner confidence and gear choices to fitness, comfort, and community.

My theological training informs my work for churches, ministries, faith-based organizations, and Christian audiences. I bring academic care to Scripture-centered writing while keeping it clear, welcoming, and connected to everyday life.
